Stevens Point Urban Area Sewer Service Area Plan 2040 Update

This report is intended to update and replace the previous, Urban Area Sewer Service Plan for the City of Stevens Point and surrounding urban area. These types of plans are also known as areawide water quality management plans.

The general purpose of this areawide water quality management plan, herein referred to as Sewer Service Area Plan, is to maintain a twenty-year sanitary sewer service boundary for the Stevens Point Urban Area and an institutional structure for implementing the Plan and managing the extension of sanitary sewage services within this urban area. The urban sanitary sewer service area boundary identifies the geographic land area within which sanitary sewer service could be made available by the year 2040 in a cost effective, environmentally acceptable manner.

Vilas County Outdoor Recreation Plan 2023-2027

The primary purpose of this recreation plan is to provide continued direction toward meeting the current and future recreation needs of the county. This is accomplished through an inventory and analysis of outdoor recreational facilities, and the establishment of recommendations to meet identified needs.

This Outdoor Recreation Plan (ORP) was prepared pursuant to Wisconsin Statute §23.30 Outdoor Recreation Program.  This section serves “to promote, encourage, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive long-range plan to acquire, maintain, and develop for public use, those areas of the state best adapted to the development of a comprehensive system of state and local outdoor recreation facilities and services…”

Oneida County All Hazards Mitigation Plan Update 2023

Oneida County All Hazards Mitigation Plan (AHMP) Update describes and documents the process used to develop the plan update. This includes how it was prepared and who (committee, organizations, departments, staff, consultants, etc.) was involved in the update process.  It also describes the local government involvement, the time period in which the update was prepared, and who to contact to answer questions and make recommendations for future amendments to the plan. This plan was approved by the Oneida County Board on February 21, 2023

2022 North Central Region Industrial Park Inventory, Absorption, and Needs Study

In 2022, the North Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (NCWRPC) researched and inventoried all industrial parks across its 10-county region and determined total, vacant, and developed acreage of each park. These locations and calculations were verified by local staff when possible. NCWRPC also analyzed air photos from 2000, 2010, and 2020 within the boundary of each identified park to determine the rate at which lots were developed to forecast future acreage demand.

This study was funded by the Economic Development Administration’s Recovery Assistance funding under the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES) act. The goal of this project is to inventory industrial space and identify future need in the region. A variety of acreage calculations, maps for marketing purposes, and data to support industrial park-related infrastructure grant applications and planning decisions is provided.
