Adams County is a county located in central Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 20,654. The county seat is Friendship. The county was created in 1848 and is named after the second President of the United States, John Adams. Adams County is known for its rolling hills and scenic views. It is also home to the Big Roche-A-Cri State Park, which features a large rock formation and hiking trails. The county is mostly rural, with agriculture being the main industry.
Lincoln County All Hazards Mitigation Plan (AHMP) Update describes and documents the process used to develop the plan update. This includes how it was prepared and who (committee, organizations, departments, staff, consultants, etc.) was involved in the update process. It also describes the local government involvement, the time period in which the update was prepared, and who to contact to answer questions and make recommendations for future amendments to the plan.
A primary reason for a community to prepare a comprehensive plan is to establish a framework for the future, especially as it relates to decisions regarding growth and regulation of development to protect and maintain the health, safety and welfare of the community. A plan also helps to set priorities for public expenditures.
The Village of Spencer Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide Village and county decision makers on a variety of issues over the next twenty years. This plan documents existing conditions in the Village and identifies primary issues or concerns to address in the future and identifies policies and actions to address those concerns. It includes information that assists in making decisions about such topics as future development, land use, transportation, housing, and economic development.
The City of Tomahawk Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide city decision makers on a variety of issues over the next twenty years. This plan documents existing conditions in the city as well as issues and concerns to address in the future. Additionally this plan presents policies and actions to address those concerns. Lastly, it includes information that will assist in making decision about such topics as future development, land use, transportation, housing, and economic development.

This plan documents existing conditions in the City and identified primary issues or convers to address in the future and identifies policies and actions to address those concerns. It includes information that assists in making decisions about such topics as future development, land use, transportation, housing and economic development.
The Village of Stratford Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide village decision-makers, property owners, developers, civic and non-profit organizations and community members in the growth, development, and improvement of the Village of Stratford. Each chapter of this plan documents existing conditions in the village and identifies primary issues or concerns
the village may need to address in the future. It includes information on the village’s demographics, natural resources, land use, transportation, utilities, housing, cultural resources, community facilities, parks, economic development, and intergovernmental cooperation.
The Town of Lemonweir Comprehensive Plan is intended to be the will-of-the-people in writing for land use planning. When the people’s desires in this community change, so too should this document. Local officials shall use this document to save time when making land use decisions. The Plan will also assist in development and management issues of public administration by addressing short-range and long-range concerns regarding development, and preservation of the community.
The Town of Ringle Comprehensive Plan is intended to guide town and county decision makers on a variety of issues over the next twenty years. This plan documents existing conditions in the Town and identifies primary issues or concerns to address in the future and identifies policies and actions to address those concerns. It includes information that assists in making decisions about such topics as future development, land use, transportation, housing, and economic development.
The Town of Marathon Comprehensive Plan identifies existing conditions in the Town as well as issues and concerns on a number of topics including future development, land use, transportation, housing, and economic development. Additionally this plan presents policies and actions to address those concerns and take future action. Public Input was sought at all stages of the planning process. This plan is intended to guide Town decision makers on a variety of issues over the next twenty years.
